I hadn’t actually heard the MagnaFlow exhaust the previous owner put on from outside the truck until today.

Better than I was expecting. That exhaust tip really looks terrible though.
I was revving it out past 5,000rpm, which I’ve been wary to do because it used to sound like the motor was gonna explode getting close to 4,000, lately it’s been way more willing to rev though. And this motor holds on to revs like no tomorrow. You rev it up to 3,000+ it doesn’t want to come down.

My Blazer’s engine holds revs like that too. I’m not sure why, it really does take a long time to come back down

Could just be a big V6 thing. My Dad’s Ram seems to take forever to come down from a above 3k.
